The Prayer Team
Feb 24th, 2008, 11:16am

The Prayer Team remains an integral part of the Live Online Church Ministry umbrella.

What began as a group of Christians called out from among a secular online program that
was actually a community of folks who found help & inspiration while looking for ways to
make money online, has turned into a full-fledged online ministry. God has blessed us and
answered so many prayers of this faithful group of believers.

In those early days, the founder of the main secular group had a desire to provide
not only practical help and guidance, but also had the novel concept that just maybe
there was room for a spiritual component to it all.  Christians were brought together
in such a way that we now know that it was God who was the author.

People were saved; people were healed; people were made whole.

As I look back, I can see God's hand on everything that happened. Yes, even when the ministry
component of the program was determined by the some of the program's leadership to be not
acceptable or not exclusive enough (how can we not be true to what God has called us to),
and the ministry set out in the direction He had called us to go, the hand of God has always
been the guiding light for what we do & how we express our love for Jesus Christ.

This ministry believes in the power of prayer. We believe that our Heavenly Father loves to
hear the  requests and petitions of His people and praise His name, to answer those prayers
with concrete, seeable results.

We love to teach people how to pray so that they can see visible results. The Scriptures
provide easy explanations and teachings on the subject of prayer - you just need to put
into practise what Jesus says. Being direct with your requests and asking for
answers brings it to pass. If you ask God to simply bless people, you prolly won't see much
happen in their lives.

You need to be detailed in what you ask - if there are needs, then articulate the needs and
don't play games with Him. The Scripture tells us to speak to the mountain not speak about
the mountain - boy do we get that messed up. (Mark 11:222-24) Most people wanna badger God
and keep at Him - why not follow Scripture and ask, believe  for what you ask for, and then
praise Him & continue to thank Him for the answer that is coming.

If you would like to be included on our Prayer team, by all means let us know.

If you would like to know how to pray, advise us on that also. We also operate a School
of prayer called "Fighting Force."   Let me caution you though, this isn't for the faint of heart
or the dabbler - this is an intensive group of Christians who take prayer seriously. Do
we see answers?  Of course we do! We expect answers and God never disappoints.

Blessings to all who read this post.
